Jim Delaney Sensei, Dojo Cho and Chief
Instructor
Delaney Sensei is a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) Aikikai, recognized by Hombu
Dojo in Japan. Jim has studied Tae-kwon Do and Judo. He started his study
of Aikido at Bushinkan Aikido in 1997. Jim has visited many Dojos
throughout the United States and regularly attends Aikido seminars and camps to
improve his skills and knowledge of the art. The responsibility of the dojo was
passed on from Bowden Sensei to Delaney Sensei in 2008.
Mike Hutchinson Sensei, Assistant Instructor
Hutchinson Sensei is a Nidan (2nd degree blackbelt) Aikikai, recongnized by Hombu Dojo in Japan. Mike began his study of Aikido at Montco Aikido Dojo
in 2002, and has continued his study of Aikido at Bushinkan Aikido since
2004. Mike regularly attends seminars & camps to improve his skills and knowledge of
the art.
Jeff Bowden Sensei, Guest Instructor
Bowden Sensei is a Yondan (4th degree blackbelt) Aikikai, reconcognized by
Hombu Dojo in Japan. Jeff founded Lower Providence Aikido in 1995 and was giving the Bushinkan name in 2005 by Sato Sensei. Jeff has
trained with the top Aikido instructors in the world including Yoshimitsu
Yamada Sensei, Mitsuge Saotome Sensei, and the late Fumio Toyoda Sensei. Jeff
passed on the operation of Bushinkan Aikido to Delaney Sensei in 2008.
Periodically throughout the year, Jeff can still be found instructing a class
at Bushinkan Aikido.
Andrew Sato, Founder of Aikido World Alliance
(AWA)
Sato Sensei is a Rokudan (6th degree blackbelt) Aikikai, reconcognized by Hombu Dojo in Japan. Sato Sensei began his Aikido training in 1977 under Toyoda
Shihan and was former chief instructor for the Aikido Association of America
(AAA) and Aikido Association International (AAI). Sato Sensei foundedAikido World Alliance
(AWA) in 2005 as an internationally recognized Aikido organization with
dojos in the United States and Puerto Rico with direct affiliation to the Hombu
Dojo in Japan.
